Editor’s Notes – March 2026

March 31, 2026

Dear Readers,

March may mark the beginning of spring, but many parts of the world are still battling winter conditions and unexpected seasonal weather events. Despite this month being reluctant to give way to the flowers set to bloom in April, business continues to push forward, and municipalities have set their sights on projects designed with their residents in mind as we round out the first financial quarter of 2026.

The year is flying by, as it usually does, and with this momentum behind us, Business View Magazine touched down at two airports that have become aviation hubs in their own right. We had the chance to interview the Airport Directors at Topeka Regional Airport and Norwalk-Heron County Airport. A lot is going on in both of these dynamic regional airports that include detailed master plans for infrastructure improvements, business opportunities, both aeronautical and non-aeronautical, on airport grounds, and the continued focus to meet increased aviation demands as passenger numbers head skyward.

As airport projects take off, so too are the master plans drawn up by municipalities that we covered for March’s edition. Each municipality continues to prioritize its residents, and remains committed to implementing master plans that range from downtown street scapes to offering a choice of amenities and new business and industrial expansion.

In this issue, we profiled Beebe, Arizona; Deforest, Wisconsin; Elwood, Indiana; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Hobart, Indiana; Jasper, Indiana; Lawton and McAlester, Oklahoma; Montrose, Colorado; and San Joaquin, California, among other municipalities and counties. Housing, critical infrastructure, and business expansion remain top focus for each of these growing communities.

Turning to business growth, we also covered impressive and fast-growing companies and organizations, including Advanced Management Company, Bison Inc., Compass Commercial Real Estate Services, Cleveland Public Library, Concrete Technology Companies LLC., Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Lockheed Martin AeroParts Inc., Miami Beach Convention Center, NextGen Label Group, Tri-Tec Manufacturing, and Van Hoose Construction, among others. These companies continue to demonstrate leadership, innovation, and produce noteworthy projects to expand their growing business foothold.

Our March issue continues to bring you our popular school district series. We spoke with Alamance-Burlington School System, Bertie County Public Schools, Corpus Christi Independent School District, Essexville-Hampton Public Schools, Horry County Schools, Ottawa University, Orleans Community School District, Pine Tree Independent School District, South Vermillion County School Corporation, South Gibson School Corporation, and Sauk Valley Community College, among other top school districts. All of these educational powerhouses are providing students with hands-on educational opportunities and real-world experiences as they proudly serve their communities.

As the economy continues to evolve rapidly, Business View Magazine keeps on top of it all. As always, we look forward to bringing the very best B2B features every month.
